Joe Turner

Norton Manager

I joined Norton in April 2018 as a senior sales advisor, moving to Renewals Assistant Manager after 5 months and then Renewals Manager a year later. I built success within my team through hard work, maintaining excellent customer service, and building good relationships with the clients I dealt with.

With 10 years’ insurance experience under my belt, I relish the opportunity that my role as Norton Manager provides to make sure we give our customers the personal touch they deserve. My team are committed to going above and beyond for each client we work with.

I am very much a family man and love to look after those closest to me. I enjoy all types of sports whether that’s watching or playing – although with my dodgy knees it’s more like watching only these days!

For me, the best part of working at Norton is that we are one big family, whether that’s my colleagues or the clients we take care of. Insurance doesn’t need to be a hassle if you have the right individual looking after you.

Jayne Devey

Personal Client Manager

I have worked in insurance for over 15 years, ten of which I have spent as part of the team here at Norton Insurance Brokers.

I enjoy working as a personal client manager because the role allows me to interact with my own clients and has led me to build a great rapport with them. I enjoy how many clients become friends; we speak about life and family, not just insurance. Of course, I also hope clients feel confident they can call me with any insurance requirements they may have.  

My role is varied and involves creating new business quotations, adding vehicles for customers and renewing policies, all of which I enjoy. I treat every client how I would like to be treated in all aspects of life.

In my spare time I love to bake, and I enjoy walking my dogs - Aster is a German Spitz aged 7, and Luna is a Cocker-Shon, aged 2.

Usman Hussain

Personal Client Manager

Having joined Norton in late 2019, I greatly enjoy the role I’ve developed here. It’s a real pleasure for me to engage positively with my clients and make sure that their needs are met, and I am proud to be providing a service that is really unique and personal.

With ten years’ experience in insurance broking, I’ve previously specialised in motor and home insurance before taking on a broader role at Norton. This practical experience has enabled me to develop the knowledge and expertise to truly support my clients.

In my spare time I like to work out and enjoy reading books, preferably non-fiction. I also love football and am a big Formula 1 fan.

David Akhtar

Personal Client Manager

I joined Norton Insurance in June 2018, as senior sales advisor.

Having specialised in property insurance for the first few years of my career, I have over 20 years of insurance experience in a lot of different areas.

Ever since taking up the role of Personal Client Manager in 2022, I have enjoyed the interaction with my customers, and take pride in finding solutions to their insurance requirements.

I hope to live up the expectations of my customers through my knowledge of our products, and my helpful personality.

I have 2 grown-up daughters, who still expect me to fund their hobbies and expenses! In my spare time I have a passion for the sport of Cricket, whether it’s playing, coaching or just watching.

Faisal Ali

Personal Client Manager

I joined Norton Insurance in April 2018 as an administration assistant, going on to support customers with mid-term policy changes after 6 months and then becoming a senior sales advisor the following year. With over five years of experience in the insurance industry and motor trade, I’ve been able to bring this helpful knowledge to my role as a Personal Client Manager.

I take pride in my role, having my own set of clients who I can build relationships with. My aim is to provide all of my clients with the best level of cover for all of their insurance needs as well as save them time and hassle.

I enjoy spending quality time with my nearest and dearest and making sure I check up on them frequently. In my spare time I like to take my Nan shopping on the weekends, work out regularly at the gym, and working on my car projects and showing them off at car shows

Aleksandra Jonczyk

Personal Client Manager

I joined Norton Insurance in March 2023 as an Insurance Advisor and in November 2023, I took on the role of a Personal Client Manager.

What I enjoy most about my role is having genuine conversations and building trusted relationships with my clients. It is important to me to provide each client with a service which is unique and tailored to their needs.

Outside of work my biggest passions are cooking and music. I am a really creative person and my two hobbies definitely go hand-in-hand. I love to cook and experiment with flavours from all around the world, and I usually do this while listening to my favourite artists!

Seema Lal

Personal Client Manager

I have been with the company for over 15 years. I previously worked in the Heritage team and have also worked in the Customer Services team.

With a wealth of insurance experience spanning many years, my aim as a Personal Client Manager is to consistently provide excellent customer satisfaction to my clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like going to the cinema and listening to music too.

Lianna Fuller

Personal Client Manager

I joined Norton as a Personal Client Manager in 2023. I am passionate about ensuring client satisfaction, excellent customer service, and building rapport for long-lasting relationships.

My role at Norton is diverse, which has enabled me to develop my insurance knowledge and expertise in newfound areas to best support my clients. My aim is to provide all my clients with a personal and professional experience being their sole point of contact.

Personally, the best part of working at Norton is their genuine interest to look after all customers and to value each other.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family exploring new destinations, bike rides and the occasional show at my local theatre.

Mark Wilkinson

Managing Director

I joined the business in 2002 after working in America for 4 years in small business start-ups. In 2013 I took over the day to day oversight of the business and have been responsible for our strategic direction and external relationships since. We regularly take the camper van away; I enjoy the great outdoors and like getting beaten at football by my son.

Rebecca Knowles

Head of HR & Operational Support

I joined Norton in 2015 as HR Manager and became Head of Operations & HR in 2020. I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of the operational side of the business, heading up our Personal Lines, Commercial and Customer Services teams. I’m fortunate to have a great team, where we work collaboratively and have fun along the way. I love spending time with my children; together we love travelling, exploring new places, going for long walks and bike rides.

Ben White

Head of Operations

I joined the business in 2009 as an office assistant.  Since then I have managed our Heritage Sales teams from brand new clients all the way to renewing existing customers. In July 2021, I took over the operational side of all trading teams including our other brands; Norton Insurance and Tradesure. I work closely with our Team Managers to provide strategic guidance to make sure we offer the best possible service to all of our clients, whilst driving the overall performance of the business.  

I enjoy spending time with my two sons and the rest of my spare time is taken up with playing for several football teams.

Andy McDonald

Underwriting and Product Development Manager

I joined Norton in 2017 to take care of and grow its in-house underwriting capacity; I develop our product offering in line with customer needs and market opportunities. As well as developing and managing products, I’m responsible for underwriting, risk acceptance and compliance, and manage a team that helps support the business in these areas. In my own time I’m an enthusiastic badminton player and run a badminton club that meets weekly.

Russell Wilcock

Finance Controller

In January 2022, I joined the Norton family bringing with me 18 years of Financial Services experience. In addition to this I have worked across various sectors including the NHS and vacuum sales. As the head of the Finance department at Norton, I am responsible for internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, supplier payments, and income collection.

I work closely with a fantastic Finance team and have the opportunity to collaborate with all members of the wider team here at Norton.

During my leisure time, I enjoy spending quality time with my son and daughter. We love exploring the outdoors, camping, and trying new things together. Cooking is also a passion of mine and whenever I am not out and about with my family, you can find me in the kitchen chopping vegetables or grinding spices.

Ben Robertson

Marketing Manager

I joined Norton as Marketing Manager in 2023. I'm responsible for attracting new clients through informative content, educating our clients on how to get the most out of their insurance policy and managing external relationships with our partners.

As part of my role, I take great pleasure in managing our websites, socials media channels and I write our monthly newsletter (if you're not already signed up, why not?). You can probably tell why I work in marketing now...

Outside of work, I spend time doing pretty much anything fitness related - in the gym, playing football or running - and I also like to spend time with friends and family.
